SUMMARY:Mary McDowell Friends School Renovation – Public Meeting
DESCRIPTION:There will be an informational meeting to discuss a pending variance application before the NYC Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) for an enlargement of the existing school building now occupied by the Mary McDowell Friends School at 18-20 Bergen Street.\nThe meeting will discuss the proposed request in terms of the need of the school for the enlargement\, the physical scope of the proposed enlargement and the potential effect on the area. The proposal is currently on file at the BSA and with local Community Board No. 2.\nThere will be a presentation of the proposal and an opportunity for all concerned individuals to ask questions and to learn about the project. All community members are welcome to attend.
